But how do we turn simple panels into furniture masterpieces? Get comfortable, because we`re about to let you in on our secrets (don`t tell our competitors!). It`s all about our craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and attention to every single step.
Laminate: The Illusionist of the Wood World
Laminate is like that magician who pulls a rabbit out of a hat, only we pull spectacular designs out of pressed particle board. Imagine layers of paper or fabric impregnated with synthetic resins that, under high pressure and temperature, come together to create a strong, decorative sheet. And voila, you have a material that can imitate wood, stone or any finish you desire!
In our collection, the Tacande and Eucalyptus fireplace models proudly sport laminate finishes. So while the fire warms the room, your fireplace will attract the stares of all guests. And maybe even a few extra compliments!
Natural Wood Veneer: The Authentic with a Touch of Glamour
For lovers of real wood, veneer is like truffles on pasta: a must-have luxury. We use pressed particle board finished with thin layers of natural wood. But we don't stop there! We polish and paint these panels to enhance their beauty and durability. It's a bit like sending wood to a spa for a beauty treatment.
And for those who care about the environment (and we all should!), we use environmentally friendly acrylic paints. The first coat is an open-pore primer, designed to maintain the naturalness of the wood and prevent yellowing. After a good sanding and polishing, we apply a second coat of varnish that protects the wood and gives it a finish to be the envy of a hand-polished Maserati.
Lacquered: The King of Color and Shine
If you are a \"I want a piece of furniture that turns heads\" kind of person, then lacquer is for you. We start with MDF panels, which we polish and treat with three coats of primer. Yes, you read that right, three coats! Because perfection takes time and dedication. The final coat gives the color and that satin sheen that makes even the most austere guest say \"Oh there there!\"
Available colors? Graphite, Sian gray, black and white (perfect for the fireplace surround for a \"total white\" effect that never goes out of style). The lacquering process is an art: after the first polishing to create a uniform base, we begin with priming with two coats of ultraviolet varnish. This not only gives hardness and strength, but also makes your furniture almost indestructible.
After a second polishing, we apply a layer of putty varnish to give the board more body. Finally, after the last polish, it's time for color! Applied inside a pressurized booth, to prevent even the smallest dust particle from ruining the final result. Because details make the difference, and we are detail maniacs!
